    Namun lewat Nagari Sicincin mereka pada lelah. Malah ada yang mengantuk. Konvoi itu melaju terus, dengan di depan sekali sebuah jip tentara kemudian dua truk berisi pasukan, ketiganya dibekali dengan senapan mesin, diselang seling bus dan truk berisi anak sekolah dan sipil dan di belakang sekali tiga truk penuh tentara.
