"Britain, 1840s Prince William Harry Harrington, the eldest son of the British monarch, stood atop the grand balcony of Windsor Castle, gazing out at the sprawling gardens below. His thoughts, however, were far from the lush greenery and vibrant flowers. They were consumed by the weight of his responsibilities, the expectations placed upon him, and the looming prospect of marriage to the Lady Katherine, a union that would secure the future of the British Empire. But little did William know, the fate of the empire was about to become entwined with that of a young woman from a far-off land, a woman whose life was about to be forever changed by the tides of colonialism. In the Gold Coast of Africa, a region that would soon become known as Ghana, the British were making their move, staking their claim on the rich resources and strategic ports. The drums of war were beating, and the lives of Prince William and Ama, a young Ashanti woman, were about to become inextricably linked in a dance of love, loyalty, and rebellion."

Its just well designed and fills in a lot of details and gaps left out in the manga and anime and is over all phenomenal due to its complexity and story development as well as characters and their traits and how they continually developed oh, it's overall a fantastic read and highly recommended.

I love it! It's a stable and fluent read as I did not see any mistakes in grammer/etc. yet (ch. 36) (could be because my low english skills but I think its perfectly done). Can't say anything 'bout the updating stability yet as I binged it but it says 11 chapters a week ... great! The story development is kinda slow compared to other novels (again, could be because I usually binge read 100 to up to 500 chapters at once) but its perfect for a story with a blacksmith as protagonist as actual forging is an important part of such novels. Didn't even find plotholes yet, but alot of humourus references. And last but not least the worlbackground. It's really well done. Without trying to spoil too much it seems to be a post apocalyptic world but not the normal nuclear bomb scenario but it uses the climate change. This gives birth to interesting and new enemies and enviromental conditions. A (in my eyes) unique and nice approach to the genre.

"Probably a couple hundred thousand pounds," the woman said. "The question is what will we do with it."
