Bro you should take ideas from Chanakya arthshastra for warfare(not only physical but psychological war ) and not only copy techniques from modern world . You are writing about india. If you just implement all the foreign ideas in the kingdom and not something from Indian culture and wire something new, the book will just become a wish fulfilment type of Novel

Bro why did mc ban Gurukuls ? Isn't Vijaynagar a Hindu empire ? In his own empire, the mc cannot openly preach Hinduism. He had to stop other educational institution like churches etc to stops birth of foreign ideas and conversion but why gurukuls . And there is no proper explanation of education system. And there is no equality or secularism in 16 th century so that you have to do everything equal for Muslims also. Gurukuls were important parts of Hindu culture and you shut them down . I thing you are just colonising India like British only introducing foreign ideas.
Now you will also start introducing ing Muslims in admiration also . Many still are not loyal to India in today's time and you are expecting them to be loyal in that time.
Plz restart the gurukuls and place on restrictions on communities n harmful for empire. You don't have to worry over equality . You are not in peaceful timewhere you have to to introduce equal policies for all people. You are the king of an empire who have to expand empire either by force or peace and expel all anti Hindu people. Not please them on terms of equality like today's times . If the mcs cannot tolerate bloodshed give the control to other king and only act as a minister. In that time when Muslims rulers commit atrocities on non Muslims, you cannot win over people by peaceful means, mercy and without bloodshed.
You have to be cruel to spill innocent blood also.

You should also make a spy network which is solely in control of king as there are many traitors or betrayers in the kingdom. In many cases, arms generals or nephews seize power and make the king a puppet ruler line fromn1542 to 1565 Rama raya made Sadasivam raya (the legal ruler) puppet ruler.
In Battle of Talikota, which had seemed an easy victory for the large Vijayanagar army, instead became a disaster as two Muslim commanders (Gilani brothers) of the Vijayanagara army betrayed and switched sides and turned their loyalty to the united Sultanates during critical point of battle.

I'm kind of disappointed; I mean I'm not saying that the idea is bad but it feels the story is unrealistic for the most part and the interaction between characters is just straight out weird with lots of unfamiliar terms at that point time furthermore it feels rushed and those interviews at the start was awkward-
I think you should pay more attention to details and making it more realistic and engaging and that is clearly lacking.
It'd be better to showcase problems of caste system and how to solve these first then go ahead with military part while also taking care of nobles which are more of a tumor.
    I've read another Indian novel-
(India that could be by Maddymudda)
    So I had great expectations!
Nice try to be honest much appreciated as I too hail from the south so it's quite fascinating to read this novel which has great potential, I would really like it if you could attempt a rewrite or something to attract more audience.

Good story author.  Just a little action missing.    You should take some ideas from story ‘Peace Online- India’ for warfare and tactics. And how a king should command .

I am amazed and excited upon the fact that someone is willing to write an Indian history and that too by being Transmigrated as one of the heirs of the Great Vijaya Nagara Empire I hope you will not abandon this
