Jiang Si originally thought that she would marry her childhood sweetheart, her third cousin, and live in harmony with him.
Unexpectedly, they were separated forever.
With her crippled legs, she married her strange eldest cousin under the sympathetic eyes of everyone.
It is said that Pei Jue, the Pei Mansion’s eldest son, is frigid, arrogant, lonely, and attractive. He must have felt sorry for her for accepting this marriage in memory of his deceased brother.
Jiang Si agreed with this and did not want to be a shackle dragging down others, so she intentionally composed a divorce letter and pressed her handprint, waiting for the ideal moment to pack up and depart.
She waited and waited but the much-rumored respectable and dignified eldest son appear in front of the door late at night, pulling out the rumpled divorce letter and calling her with a raspy voice: cousin —
He looked lonely, but his black eyes with broken stars seemed to hide a hook, which made people’s hearts itch and dry their mouths.

Ernest Hemingway is the pivotal character's sidekick. The main character wields the sacred semi-divine sword of the three legendary Japanese treasures. Ethereal bears are summoned for assassination attempts. These elements are all both awesome and corny in equal measure. If that appeals to you and you can embrace the fun, you'll find it enjoyable. If you prefer your manga to be more "deep" or are snobby about it, it might not be your type of read. Hiroi Oji primarily wrote for game development, and the story feels bombastic in that vein.
Ryoichi Ikegami's art is fantastic throughout, as always. So many aspects of the manga are elevated by his talent and style, serving as another great example of his impact.
Overall, I recommend it.
