Tao: The Uncanny Immortal

Really don’t understand how this could have become 3rd on weekly ranking - really poorly written, some of the most gaping plot holes I have witnessed not to mention the thick layers of plot armour. Many of the situations seem to have been made up on a whim of the author and going from 0 to 100 as he seems to get bored of sticking to one subject.They do say copying is the best form of flattery but some of this is just down right plagiarism from various stories - he randomly started throwing in hunter x hunter terms etc. for a couple of chapters then seems to totally forget about it. Overall, largely disappointing.

I’ll be completely honest here yes I’m 5 chapters in but it’s all predictable. In the beginning he’s a crippled kid that’s the son to one of the most powerful people in the universe. He was treated nicely cause of that and became a super doctor who solved a lot of issues in the medical field. Also checked some arrays protecting treasure no one else could. Married the most talented chick alive, on the wedding night she kills him for no reason. Reincarnates to a family who is on their last leg. Keeps all memories, finds out he’s boarder line crippled. Quickly fixes himself and of course mother is poisoned by one of the most powerful poisons out there which shouldn’t be in the world they live in. Dad is imprisoned cause his sons holy pulse got taken he tried to kill everyone responsible. Finds out they only took the half he can recover. When saving a dude who is about to die and every other doctor said he can’t be saved saves him. Tells mom when she questions him a old man taught him in his dreams. This story is a wonderland of cliches and he’s gonna catch them all. This author is trying to collect every cliche gym badge out there, who knows maybe he’s a immortal 13 year old kid to.

Interesting story.There are a few grammar and spelling errors at the start, but its still pretty easy to read so that's not really a problem.The original betrayal is quite... dramatic.Like the guy was clearly using some voodoo curses to get to that situation lol.The story seems fun enough and the new disciple character seems pretty fun.It's a decent read.Do check it out.

Lol, I don't know how many reviews I'll make for this but for the confused souls out there who have take the time to read them...let me inform you of what this story may contain...BL=Boys Love(three chara seem to lean here)GL=Girls Love(one chara leans here)& Straight Romance(two chara lean here)And (pansexual???) MC that has vowed off romances/love so far. It's got action, betrayals, survival, mutants, Evolutionary, zombies,  leveling(via cores and cultivation), fangirls, harem(vibe?), and its pretty informative without excessive use of it. This is all I've gathered after only 30 chapters. So hope its helpful, just don't turn away because of BL or GL, its pretty good if you can overlook that, cause that is obviously not the main focus of this story. The main focus is the way the MC handles everything in this Apocalyptic world.

I've read berserk and this reminds me a lot of it I can't wait to see what happens next especially when it's as dark as thisps takeyoshi sensei do us justice with this novel
