Onkai awakens cluelessly in a world unbeknownst to him, where he is immediately handed the task to help the King after being granted an ability to aid him on his journey. However, Onkai doesn't feel so obedient and decides to go berserk in the village he has spawned into, massacring it's people for nothing more than his own sadistic pleasures and a mysterious, deeply embedded anger. News of a "Mad Player" spreads quickly throughout the Kingdom of Highmaria, prompting the King's guards to pursue him and forcing Onkai on the run. As Onkai learns more about this world, fragments of his forgotten past begin to surface, eventually leading him to believe that his origins may contribute to the rise of Highmaria's greatest enemy, forcing him down a deadly path to find out more.

I have never been into this kind of stories before so I thought that I would leave it hanging from the first chapter but once I started reading it, I was proved wrong. To put it simply, this book was very interesting and.. original! It was well thought of. The character design, the story development and all the other details screamed 'Get hooked on me!' I don’t know what to say. I really like this shop novels but this story is too dumb. Mc has some hard anger issues . Gets beaten by a weakling but acts incredible hard against ppl that could pinch him to deaths . The icharscter nteractions are just unbelievable and he is a Simp. Mom has some red marks and is obviously ill, yeah why should I care . Everybody can do what he wants . There should be at least Some basic laws . Why then bother with money and not rob everything ? A new novel with some meat on it.Lucked into finding this one while browsing for new novels. I've been worn down by other novels with short barely-bite-sized "chapters". This one, however, is the real deal.There are some mechanical errors (spelling, grammar, etc). But this isn't English class, so don't let that put you off!
