Bound By Power

This novel is one of the few I look forward to.Most novels are very generic and while this novel is not like a whole new world, I at least want to point the focus towards the consistent quality of chapters.Up to now everything we/I read is important. I jave yet to see any fillers or something similar which is quite an achievement if you compare some novels of this type.But let's rate the novel:Writing Quality: 5 Stars-As I already mentioned the grammar and structur of even basic sentences is very good. It is not 100% but I have yet to see a novel without typos.-The basic storyline is consistent and the story doesn't get jumbled around so the story stays in an easy to understand path.Stability of Updates: 5 Stars-7 chapters per week plus bonus chapters for certain milestones-I don't think we had any chapter missing in between.Story Development: 4 Stars-Right now it's just 4 Stars but the story is still at it's starting point. Judging by the current pace its gonna be 7-10 chapters till the story really kicks off.-I'll adjust the Stars at that point.Character Design: 4 Stars-This is actually hard to decide. At this point the MC is slightly generic. On the other side I can see the potential for the future since the story has yet to fix itself onto his current behaviour-Side characters are sufficiently described and their mood and actions are well presented.-We got the normal bitchy character, stern teacher/elder type, cute jail-loli etc.-Let's see what else will appear.World Background: 4 Stars-Same as with the characters: cultivation world, god like super cultivatiors, sects and probably kingdoms-We have the “previous“ MC the super strong imprisoned dude who either died or his body is left somewhere.-Aside from that we have the normal knowledge about cultivation(dual), herbs and alchemy etc.As of now the story is normal based on the characters and story line, and otherwise we have a nice writing style and the possibility of the author making something different from the other eastern fantasy novels.I am excited for the future.

The characters are really well developed, and I like the sense if mystery with the mc. Currently gathering as much fast passes as possible. :)

Fantastic book even if some grammar issues BUT it has been discontinued right in the middle of it. It’s really a shame because I was enjoying this book.

3+2+2+1+1/5=1.8This does truly have potential.perhaps I'm growing old. I was not amused enough to laugh at any point. it was really hard to continue being interested.

This weeks batch is terrible. Theres so much wrong with this, to the point where I can't be bothered to go out of my way and talk about everything wrong with this. I'm going to keep it brief.-God awful translations. I've read better MTLs.-Soulless nonsense.-Nothing makes sense or is explained.-Bad everything (world building, characters, cheat, writing quality etc, nothing about this was even adequate. it was all below average at best.)TLDR; train wreck not worth reading + a translation somehow inferior to MTLs.

The authors premise is solid enough. Character and plot development need work. The writing as a whole is stilted and needs polishing. The writing style seems to point to the authors lack of maturity. I'm sure he or she will be able to weave more coherent tales as they grow as an author. This is not a bad effort though and the novel as a whole is readable unlike others I have read. This author is right on the precipice of being a good writer. It won't hurt to give this story a read. Just know that it is lacking. Especially in character interactions with other characters and the way situations are fleshed out. An example is how the world reacts to the characters return from the seven year dungeon. Another is the interaction between the character and the guild his father helped found.

I actually read this when it was on kindle imagine my surprise when I see it here.It’s always nice to see a ntr story so 5 stars for that and I genuinely like the writing and characters hope to see more and don’t listen to the hate, people can like what they want (unless it’s illegal) so take my stones cause I forget to use them
