Jack Somnus was a mid-wealth economics professor and a trading advisor for the influential Johnson family.
After years of dedication to the Johnsons, he was abruptly let go without explanation or severance.
Jack's life took a turn for the worse when he lost his wife. Struggling with depression and isolation, he became involved in an unfortunate accident.
Rather than dying, Jack found himself transported back to his teenage years.
Now, Jack has a second chance to live the life he always dreamed of.
He aims to be the one in control, not the one being controlled.
However, his time travel harbors a deeper secret that could surprise him.

PS.
This story features themes of building a business empire, investing, a confident protagonist, and acknowledges that the main character is not the only intelligent individual.
Updates are posted daily at 18:11 CEST, with potentially more updates on weekends depending on reader interest.
The narrative shares the same universe as my first novel "Evolution of Genius: every night, I get smarter!", but connections between the two will not be revealed until much later, and this story can be enjoyed independently.

The writing language is ok, the main character shows the maturity of a regressed middle age man who wants to change the future. though there are not enough chapters to fully consent to the world background, but the current chapters are enough to give a good glimpse of the Author's writing skill so I doubt I will be disappointed.
I can happy recommend this story to others to read since it is different from other novels with mc: that pushes through with op systems that is common these days.
