Daniel Umaga has a totally different perspective on life and death than the typical person, since he constantly uses someone else as an excuse not to die.
Yet when his reality begins to blur the boundary between death and life, Daniel is doomed to see everyone he loves being tormented simply to keep him alive.

Relinquish is a story about the beginning of a mortal world that went into hell, after a power that should not be possessed by humans; fell from the hands of the gods and goddesses.
Wherein it is a weak Daniel who begins to crawl in a bid to rise from his own death... On his road to creating something impossible, a world similar to paradise for those who are the cause for his survival.

Honestly not sure why this has such high ratings unless majority of readers are new to cultivation novels. Thus far (200+) it's basically brain dead ****** plot, ****** characters, ****** writing like MGA. It's probably pretty decent if you're new to cultivation novels, but when you've read enough when you know the author is being excessively wordy for word count, the same old offending the current top expert, getting beat and coming back later to win, etc, it's a bit tiresome. Some critical flaws in this is that the author doesn't seem to have an understanding of human psych/interaction and the cultivation levels are ambiguous and makes no sense. Example would be when 3rd chu prince mentions MC is the 3rd lvl weaponsmith and bribes him in exchange to not interfere with his family matters... You want this third prince who is favored by the king for his ruthless genius, but he isn't smart enough to realize that MC literally throws himself to danger to save his father/clan multiple times yet thinks he could somehow be coerced to back off? Or that in the same scene, MC agrees to a duel of taking 3 strikes by current rival top expert, in exchange for asking that his father be treated well... instead of trying to ask whether his father can be released from prison? (No matter what there's no harm in asking in this situation). There's an incredible amount of off character interactions. All in all, it's good enough to keep reading if you're bored, but it's certainly not deserving of a 4.5.

The beginning is quite captivating. The story develops at a steady pace while not lowering it's quality, with the only problem being grammar but just some minor mistakes here and there. The character descriptions are basic and simple though, but doesn't ruin the story and is enough to still let you imagine the character. World building is, as usual, what you would expect of a fantasy story which can be a good thing. All in all, a great read to say the least.Keep up the good work!

sadly the story seems to have been dropped. otherwhise it was a great story that doesnt deserve to be ended on a cliffhanger like it has been.

writing and grammer have a lot of problems. there is little to no character development. the story seems to just bounce around. it introduces new chars without really telling you who they are. the Mc is suppose to be the number 1 genius in his high end college but story doesn't really show his intelligence, more of a barbarian fighter. char is suppose to be a mage but only uses spells sometime  most fights are him using 1 skill to one hit kill all bosses that out lvl him by 10+ levels. is the second person to get a gods blessing and become an apostle but the first person to is underpowered
