Selene, raised high in the northern Highlands, lived her entire life blissfully unaware of the significant promise made by her parents at her birth. They had always sheltered her excessively. As she turned eighteen, she found herself face to face with King Frederick of Astor, a dashing and stern ruler of Astor. From that moment forward, their destinies intertwined when he declared her to be his future queen. Betrothed to a king she didn't love, Selene's heart belonged to her dear friend Henry, a charming and compassionate lad. They shared a secret bond, though Henry had never revealed to her that he was actually the king's cousin. Their union, initially devoid of affection, began to evolve into a deep and genuine connection. However, Henry's aspirations clashed with this newfound love. Driven by a belief in his rightful claim to the throne, which had once been taken away from him, his ambitions threatened to tear apart the bond they had forged.

It's nice. Their love is beautiful especially in every story/world... I mean mc persisted and ml indulges and dotes. There are certain parts of the story I wish was explained better but it's understandable, since the focus is mc and ml.0 0 Reply
