as i see it the art is among the worst ive seen
and being completly unable to draw variations of characters is sad
there is 1 woman with some variations in clothes and in some cases Hair
all the females are clones from the Inn Girl in chapter 1
.some work have been put into doing diffrent looking males
so atleast 3 diffrent "types" of males can be seen.

sure its funny sometimes,,, i give One Piece that much(its comedy afterall)
but it feels like there is nothing new after vol 10-12 or so,..sure some stupid new "devil fruit" character jump out -repeat-...-repeat-

Simply an awesome manga. Touching story of each member's past n their own dreams. Adventure beyond our imagination. Hilarious scenes time to time. Cool fighting moves. New places and new people everywhere! A hidden mystery of what is one piece? hope the journey never ends ;]

you shouldn't miss this manga. it's interesting, amusing, and it has great fights. parsonaly, i think it's better then naruto. luffy rules!

This manga just keeps getting better and better. At first I thought the art style was lacking, but pretty soon I realized that it was the most unique and imaginative manga art I've ever laid eyes on. The character development and plot are astounding, and I have been moved to tears more than once by its magical storytelling.

This is truly a masterpiece that will capture the hearts of readers of all ages. Don't miss it.

First , if you like ADVENTURE series , i highly suggest this series.
I like this series , mainly because its story , every character background esp character development, their reason , intention well explained in here , Oda is genius storyteller.
Nowdays, i as otaku keep getting bored because a LOT OF FIGHTING GENRE MANGA THAT BORES ME TO DEAD.
Until I read ONE PIECE , its MORE than fighting kids manga that have a lot of ANGST fanboy / fangirl. In here , you can find adventure as a pirate , treasure hunting , conspiracy ,friendship , betrayal , and straight forward fighting that not take too much babbling about what skill they are going to do in the battle .
And there's a lot moral of the story that reach humanity element.
The story is long , but its not problem for me cause the story have been prepared so well , its getting interesting. When i think i know what is the next story is , Oda tells me how much i didn't know.
Hell , even this manga is so damn good if it was created as RPG game.

the adventure are beyond our imagination and its cool

I've read the entire series so far (up to 368) and I can say that I really enjoy it!! I've also seen all the movies+episodes out by K-F. It's obviously kinda aimed towards kids, in the fact that no one ever dies, but it has a really intriguing and well thought out plot, and best of all, its fun! I can't wait to see what happens!

One Piece... love it. I have the same feeling as elvisrules (who I just remembered scanlates it >_>) but anyway... I can't say the action is better then Naruto by any means, Naruto's battles seem a lot more fluid but everything else is on One Piece's side. I've read all released chapters, and watched all fansubbed episodes and it's still a great show.

If I'd rate in the same way as the above user, Action: above average but nowhere near the top, Story: great! there's plenty of arcs to fall in love with, Comedy: anyone saying Naruto is funnier then OP is smoking something and it's always a laugh at least in every chapter/episode, and as dumb as Luffy is, at least he doesn't piss me off like Naruto does.

Well...I too never got attached to this manga...but that changed...when I finally sat down and READ it...I was soooo mad at myself that I didn't take the time to actually read all of it...it is the BEST MANGA and I really wonder why more mangas aren't like this one...it's not like it's new...if you don't like it...it's because you haven't gotten into the flow of this manga...it's soo different...you won't understand it the first time around...the humor...the story...wow, I really surprised myself that I almost skipped the newest and best form of manga out there...watch the anime til eps 50 and you'll know...not the english version...the tranlations are way off

This manga is legendary, it's nothing like repetitive, cliché mangas like Naruto. It has a unique plot, great characters as well as humour, mystery, drama and adventure.

One Piece is Japan's #1 manga but it should be the world's #1 manga; it certainly deserves it.
