I gave it a try since Yoko Taro's name was on it but it's pretty mediocre.
It's a generic death game, if you've ever read stuff like Darwin's Game you've already read a better version of it. The drawings are good and the manga doesn't shy away from showing gore but that about all the praise I can give it ; characters, story, and fights are all quite dull.

That was a really heartfelt chapter especially with Gao's Dad looking back on his regrets with his wife. Gao's arc has been awesome, but I'm sorry I'm still team Mayu. And that won't change no matter how cute Gao is.
