This manga dove into what it is like being part of a PMC and how wars are and how they affect civillians. The plot follows Arata as he experiences war and the weight of his decisions. In the first arc, he meets his crush who is an involuntary sex worker and a voluntary translator, an american weeb that has a crush on him, a literal child that feels a sense of admiration for him (which is mistaken for love), his best friend during his training, and a soldier out from a squad he commanded in the battlefield. Oh yeah its all coming together.
