Mangasushi Chapter 89

Yeah, the main character is hard to pin down in that "because they're not consistent" way. It's a bit frustrating, but he's not perfect—and he's not meant to be. In fact, his personality nearly caused his death, and then he was told he needs to grow up (in other words, but the message was such).
The side characters are varied and play into the running joke/gimmick of the story; this gimmick only works well because the main character is generally an abrasive person to the point there is no question there is no romance. Otherwise his title of
The main draw is the plot, as more is going on than meets the eye and that part actually gets better and better, along with the main character slowly growing as a person. He's even invested in a goal that's selfless now.
The beginning of this story is a bit off-putting, but it really becomes something worth giving a try.
Kinda reminds me of Assassin de aru no ore....
although not so dark. MC is sceptical, kinda cold type who loves food. And the usual, op.
However, like the opness in one punch man, this series excels in showing the fun and liveliness of the side characters instead of using the MC to push all the plotlines.
Great series for isekai, in a way similar to tensei shitara slime. Op but plot does not rely on them to push entirely.
Another typical isekai with a twist, kind of like "Tate no Yuusha", the MC in this case seems to have been dragged into the mess thou it soon becomes dubious if that's really the case. The MC starts off interesting, deciding to choose his own path in this new world but his neutral and self interested approach to things doesn't last, he's actually a very inconsistent character. He start off as an aloof char that works for his own interest, in short, a detached person, yet almost immediately he goes poking his nose into other peoples business and expecting them to bend to his whims, this is called being spoiled or conceited. Then, he gets pangs of conscience from stealing and killing monsters or killing people who want to kill him but he is ok to just look the other way when a kid and family are kidnapped and made into slaves...
The follow your guts/friendship power type MC is overused. This kind of MC is refreshing. Great story Great MC great Characters the only downside is no one is translating this fast enough...
P.S the novel is amazing!
I gotta say, I like the main character. He is up-front and blunt about everything. Unless it benifits him in some way he's not gunna do anything, and to be honest who can blame him? I like the way he views things and reacts to people around him. However, nothing here is new. The main character of this story can be found in hundreds of others but that can be said about alot of characters. But then we get to the story itself and you can find this exact plot/summoned to another world to be a hero, in over dozens of manga. This one in particular is slightly unique(haha pun intended) in that the hero is an innocent bystander rather than a hero. Well anyways let's hope for the best and keep reading 🙂
Quite frankly any series that stays away from cliche MCs and shounen battles gets my attention. Unfortunately the are so few series like that in the modern industry. Even most so called seinen series are filled with shounen elements.
This series has a lead MC who is calculating and detached and his battles are combination of power and strategy. For me true hard work is constantly improving your skills, approaching things from different angles to find solutions and changing your outlook to adapt to situations required. Not bashing away at a problem and overcoming with the power of GUTS! Its okay if a MC out-skills and overpowers his opponents, its not like people stop supporting winning sports teams because they dominate their opponents, rather they revel in it.
Luckily there a number of new series on the market with the same premise of person being transported to a RPG world who is a capable lead character: World Customize Creator, Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari, Overlord are further examples of this.
