Yu Takamine was captivated by the female pro-wrestlers she admired during her childhood. Despite her parents' disapproval, she auditioned for and succeeded in joining the Tokyo Women's Pro Wrestling Association. However, this achievement was just the beginning of her journey to becoming a true wrestler.
This is Yu's story—an amateur wrestler who wasn't particularly strong at first. It follows her development as she progresses from an apprentice to a rookie, then to a heel, an idol, and eventually a senior wrestler. Throughout her career, Yu explores various fighting styles, each step shaping her into the wrestler she aspires to be.
Having Santa's assistants working as a "black company" (please, not what you think so don't be triggered... "burakku kaisha" are companies who infringes Labor standards in Japan. Violations such underpay, excessive overtime, human rights issues, discrimination, non-payment of taxes and insurances, you name it)... this is a FCUKING BRILLIANT CONCEPT. But you can't expect less from an author who made Jesus and Buddha as roommates in Tachikawa lol and the story actually works.
This is promising. I do think Hikaru-san might be legit crazy, but she's a genius.
