Having Santa's assistants working as a "black company" (please, not what you think so don't be triggered... "burakku kaisha" are companies who infringes Labor standards in Japan.  Violations such underpay, excessive overtime, human rights issues, discrimination, non-payment of taxes and insurances, you name it)... this is a FCUKING BRILLIANT CONCEPT.  But you can't expect less from an author who made Jesus and Buddha as roommates in Tachikawa lol and the story actually works.

This is promising.  I do think Hikaru-san might be legit crazy, but she's a genius.

creme de la creme, main romance is very wholesome and heart-warming, secondary romance between the 2 playboys is also cute

It's fun and cathartic, but the characters are so shallow and one dimensional. There's very little conflict, just unpleasant people given way more screen time than the charming protagonist. Still, it's not terrible, just a bland copy of Dexter.

Anyways, this manga is really great. It's sad that the author got trapped in an intellectual sinkhole like this when he seems to have such good takes on other issues. It kind of reminds me of Jordan Peterson.
