    anyway it was obvious about mid-way that it wasn't gonna end in a harem. And yes, the pain was great but personally I'd rather have the worse girl win than an open ending (and it's not even tagged as a harem)

    I think this one suffered the curse of being the successor to the famous work of an author (in this case, Helck). While we can see the art improved, I think it didn't deliver an equally interesting begin as Helck did and the pace is quite slow so far.
