    Wait if they go to mars then they are literally in the same situation but even worse because logistics and distance and shit. They say terraformed but that bitch still look red and dusty as fuck. Good way to waste everyone's time and materials on a useless project I guess. Sounds like a problem of the atmosphere or ozone thinning out which could be caused by a weakening of the magnetic field just like the current situation on Mars. I think. IDFK OKAY!? I'm not a scientist but all I know is that Mars is red and dusty as fuck so that = no plant life = no breathable air. Where would the water go anyways? Up my ass? Jk probably escaped to space.     I'm rooting for the other girl. I find it more interesting for a character to learn that they fucked up and admit their mistakes to try to reconcile with the mc than just have some random girl fall into the mc's life and instantly fall for the mc.  One gives a character depth and the other is just lazy writing in my opinion
