I'm addicted to reading mangas, but this in particular make sleep at 3-4 am because i just can't stop reading it, so this is a must, but make time in your schedule because your gonna need it!!!!
the best manga i know, you'll love it you're a fan of sports
id love to see more of the girls in there too =) 10/10 one of the best there is
The best manga ever.
As simple as that. To be frank, the artwork in the beginning is rather bad. But as the volume progress, it becomes so good.
Especially when fighthing. It's just... so... COOL!
This manga has excellent story, characters, and most importantly: humor. I simply love it. I lost count the number of times I almost fell out of my chair because I laughed so far.
I wasnt a boxing fan until I read this. It's that good!
This is by far the best manga I have ever read. The story is truly addicting. My computer hasn't been off in weeks downloading this thing.
The anime leaves off around volume 35, so start checking it out from there.
Even with it's repetition, it still has one of the best stories to tell. Truly uplifiting. Straight forward with wonderful characters. These are the characters you keep.
There's no other manga quite like this one. A shame to miss.
I think people rate this manga too high. Some of the fights in this manga have nothing to do with the main plot and some fights are pointless. The characters go down and back up around 50 times. Even though I said that I have to admit that the manga has a lot of good points (humour, most of the fights, romance, and a moving story). But its more than EIGHTY VOLUMES AND IS RUNNING.
Holy crap though, seventy seven volumes, when is it gonna end? I'd love to see the end of this series
An excellent manga about boxing. A bit of drama, lots of comedy and action. Once you start reading it, you'll get addicted. This is by far yhe best sportts manga ever made. It is a very long manga but the story keeps getting better. The second half of the series is better than the first.
PS. TAKAMURA IS THE LORD OF PERVERTS
Seriously, this is seriously the best manga ever made in the world. IF YOU HAVEN'T READ IT YOU'RE SERIOUSLY DEPRIVED! However, I completly agree that it is really long, 74+ Volumes, and if it wasn't for the FABULOUS plot, GREAT CHARACTERS AND CHARACTER BUILDING, and of course, SOME OF THE BEST ACTION EVER, i might have possibly gotten bored.
On a side note: I read about 50+ Volumes in about a week. This seriously gets addicting....
One of the very best manga that I have ever read. Nothing can come close to this series in sheer intensity with a good mix of humour in it. Even at 70+ volumes, the characters remains interesting and everyone is a star in their own fight. Agree with the rest of the board, Takamura is the king of perverts!
SIMPLY THE BEST THERE IS.
Damn, After seventy volumes, it's starting to get just a tad repetitive. But it's still good
