It is not for me: Desharow is raped by Agares. I gave up.
As someone who enjoyed the novel, the manhua does not capture the essence of the original. In the early chapters of the novel, Agares is given the full horror movie monster treatment. He's scary. He's demonic. He's the siren luring Desharow to his demise. You literally get chills when he appears in the novel! But the manhua reduces his terrifying presence to flowery backgrounds and blushy faces. This is not the Agares that kept me hooked on the novel. I'm super disappointed because the art is gorgeous and would've added so much to the story.
