This got worse as soon as he came to Earth. For pretty much no reason he decides to play by Earth's rules and let everyone talk down to him. It's kind of out of character as dude was just beating up things in the abyss for 30 Earth years and 1000s of years in his life experience. Also dude lived in the Abyss for 30 years, came back and people just be like "that's cool bro but I'm stronger because martial arts dumb her-duh". It's just a frustratingly dumb and boring turn to the story. My opinion at least.
