I disagree completely. The human mind has a limited capacity for memory, so if they live for a long enough time they'll only retain the most intense memories (trauma), which will ultimately lead to suicidal ideation as a means of escape from the perpetual "fresh hell" of living. It could certainly make other devils more powerful, like Violence or Disease as you say, but not necessarily Death by extension of that.
I understand your idea as 'they'd have more to lose the older they get', but imo it's a lot more emotionally complicated than that. It'd be like never being able to fall asleep naturally no matter how tired you get, so in the end you'd try anything to get some rest.
