^ this guy above me is right.  Although, admittedly, 4s dialogue (especially during her dungeon) really DOES make it seem like it’s supposed to have trans-undertones, so I don’t blame people for misunderstanding lol.

I agree with everything else the original commenter said though.  I’ve been playing 4 recently, and I really like it…it’s just the homophobic and transphobic dialogue is so off-putting.  Not only is it just generally hard to sit through, but it also kinda contradicts a lot of the themes the game uses.  I know they probably won’t change a lot of the more…bleh dialogue in a remake, but I do hope they at least change some of it.
