Ikuto's Guardian Character, Yoru, possesses cat-like features. He sports paw gloves and boots and dresses in a punk fashion style. Yoru embodies the image of a freedom-loving stray cat, often wandering around as he pleases without staying close to Ikuto. He loves teasing and annoying Kiseki, who tries to mimic Yoru's unique abilities, such as climbing buildings and railings. Yoru seems to be scared of dogs.
During a Character Change with Ikuto, Ikuto sprouts cat ears and a tail. When they perform a Character Transformation, they become "Black Lynx." In this form, Ikuto wears a spandex-like outfit, complete with cat ears and a tail, and wields a glove equipped with metal claws. In volume two, Miki appears to have a crush on Yoru, similar to her feelings for Kiseki, showing equal admiration for both characters.
