The graceful yet somewhat mysterious former Q-Chair (Queen's Chair), who is the same age as Amu. When Amu rejected the offer to join the Guardians, Nadeshiko tried various methods to convince her. One attempt involved bribing Amu with photos of Tadase sleeping.
It was later revealed in the manga that Nadeshiko is actually a boy named Nagihiko. In the Fujisaki family, it is customary for males to train as "oyama" (male actors who perform female roles in kabuki). This is why Nagihiko dresses in female attire and uses a female name. He goes abroad to Europe to complete his dance training. It is hinted that he may have feelings for Amu, especially from episode 25, where he admits to being interested in a girl but is not ready to reveal himself to her yet.
In chapter 27, Nagihiko is shown with the First K-chair, Tadase, and Kukai. The First King has decided that Nagihiko will serve as the interim Jack since Kairi left at the end of Chapter 26. Kukai and Tadase are among the few people who know Nagihiko's secret, along with his family and the First King.
Nagihiko's character during Character Change becomes a battle-hungry yakuza type who speaks in Hiroshima slang and wields a naginata. He is good friends with Amu and supports her in her love life. During a Character Change, Temari says "Chin, Ton, Shan."
In chapter 34 and episode 91, Rhythm hatches after Nagihiko remembers how much he enjoyed playing basketball at his own pace and rhythm while fighting against an X Character. When performing a Character Transformation, they become Beat Jumper. In episodes 91 and 92, his attack "Beat Dunk" is shown, which involves jumping high into the air for a powerful dunk. Episode 93 reveals his attack "Blaze Shoot," where he throws a ball-like object formed in his hands.
Rhythm's Character Change turns him into someone highly skilled in sports. He appears very friendly and optimistic during this change.
It is shown in episode 92 that Temari returns in episode 98 and chapter 34 alongside Rhythm. When performing a Character Transformation, they become Yamato Mai Hime.
