Yasuna tends to be a quiet and often lonely girl compared to her other friends. Her parents are frequently absent due to their demanding jobs, leading Yasuna to rely heavily on her close friends for love and support. This is particularly true in the case of Hazumu, who unfortunately does not reciprocate the affection Yasuna desires.
Yasuna and Hazumu initially met as classmates, though they seldom spoke. Hazumu admired Yasuna from afar until one day on Mt. Kashima, before the main story began, they discovered a mutual interest in gardening. It was then that Yasuna remarked on how feminine Hazumu appeared, which allowed her to see most of his figure except for his face, typically obscured by his hair.
Fatefully, Yasuna rejected Hazumu's first confession of love when he was still a boy. However, after Hazumu's transformation into a girl, Yasuna ironically confessed her love to him. Yasuna's awkward personality and general antisocial tendencies towards males stem from her androphobia. Astonishingly, she perceives all men, except Hazumu, as covered in a grey blur. This explains why she finds it easier to love Hazumu after his transformation, showing much more overt interest in her thereafter.
Yasuna is a member of the Music Club and plays the flute. The music room where she practiced was conveniently located near the school rooftop, where Hazumu maintained a large garden.
