Tomari is Hazumu's longtime childhood friend who has consistently stood by Hazumu's side, often shielding him from bullies. Unlike the gentle Hazumu, Tomari exhibits a markedly tomboyish nature, evident in her actions and disinterest in traditionally feminine pursuits such as fashion or shopping. Her friends, regardless of gender, frequently perceive her as very masculine, which often irritates Tomari and sparks her anger.

Besides this, she is an active member of the Track and Field Club and takes pleasure in various physical activities. Before Hazumu's transformation, Tomari harbored a subtle interest in him and was equally astonished when he turned into a girl. Throughout their friendship, Tomari has invested considerable effort into supporting Hazumu, especially during his moments of despair, for which Hazumu has always been deeply grateful.

However, after Hazumu's sex change, Tomari begins to feel a twinge of jealousy due to Hazumu spending more time with Yasuna. Over time, these feelings evolve, and Tomari starts developing romantic sentiments towards the new Hazumu, marking a significant shift in their relationship dynamics.
