Uhin Zenjouji was the first captain of the 12th Division over a millennium ago. As one of the original captains of the Gotei 13, Zenjouji possessed an immense amount of spiritual energy, evident when he effortlessly defeated numerous Quincy warriors during the initial invasion of Soul Society.
Zenjouji had remarkable physical strength, enabling him to eliminate two foes simultaneously by grabbing each by the head with one hand, then pushing, grinding, and crushing them together against his chest with little effort.
Yhwach noted that Zenjouji was notorious for his ruthless and cold-blooded nature, exemplified by his massacre of the Quincy from Lichtreich during their first assault on Soul Society.
Zanpakuto: In its sealed form, Zenjouji's Zanpakuto appeared as a large katana with a golden tsuba shaped like two elliptical petals positioned opposite the blade edges and an orange handle.
