In her youth, she took the Bless Blade from the shrine and concealed it beneath the sacred tree, Flagoon. This action later proved beneficial when the sword was essential for defeating Copy Rezo-Zanaffar. Following each destruction of Sairaag, Sylphiel played an active role in its reconstruction efforts. Her life is centered around aiding others.
She possesses exceptional abilities as a white magic cleric, surpassing characters like Amelia Wil Tesla Saillune and Naga the Serpent in this field. However, her prowess does not extend to other forms of magic. She lacks proficiency in fundamental offensive spells such as shamanistic or black magic. A notable instance of this is her rendition of Flare Arrow, which appears more like a tiny carrot than a formidable spell.
Sylphiel openly expresses her attraction to Gourry, a situation that makes Lina feel uneasy.
