He is a muscular man with white hair, always seen smoking two cigars simultaneously. His attire includes a large, thick white and blue specialist Marine jacket that he keeps open, featuring greenish fur lining around the neck, wrists, and hem. Numerous cigars are strapped to his jacket, which has the kanji for "justice" written on its back. He wields a Seastone-tipped jutte as his weapon and also wears brown leather gloves, blue jeans with a brown belt, and large military-issue brown leather boots. Smoker is a tough Marine who initially tried to track down Luffy in Loguetown. Unlike many other Marines in One Piece, Smoker does not adhere strictly to Absolute Justice but follows his own brand of justice, which he later imparts to Tashigi. Despite his stern demeanor, he shows a softer side at times. He maintains close friendships with fellow Marine Captain Hina and former Navy Admiral Kuzan. After the timeskip, Smoker advanced to the rank of Vice Admiral and became a member of the G-5 base in the New World. He also became more muscular and now sports a scar on his face.
