Boa Sandersonia is one of the three Gorgon sisters who govern Amazon Lily. She and her sisters are known as the Gorgon sisters for supposedly slaying a monster called the Gorgon. She is the younger sister of Boa Hancock and the elder sister of Boa Marigold.
Appearance:
Sandersonia is a large woman with snake-like features. Her head is shaped like a snake's, and she has a forked tongue. Like other Kuja, she wears revealing clothing. She is usually seen with the large panther Bacura by her side instead of a snake. On her back, hidden by her cape and long green hair, is a mark of slavery branded by their former Tenryuubito masters. This hoof-shaped mark signifies that she was considered "less than human" as a slave. Her sisters also bear this mark on their backs.
Due to the shameful meaning of this mark, Sandersonia and her sisters convinced their fellow Kuja that they had eyes on their backs as part of a curse from slaying the Gorgon. They claimed these eyes could turn anyone who saw them into stone. If the truth were discovered, they would be forced to leave the island.
Personality:
Sandersonia appears very fond of her sister Hancock, often laughing at her twisted personality. While living under the lie that she and her sisters defeated a Gorgon, Sandersonia herself hasn't actually told a lie unlike Hancock, who constantly lies. She is the most emotional of the three sisters and is highly sensitive about their past, often needing comfort from her sister Marigold during emotional breakdowns.
In battle, Sandersonia is a playful warrior who teases and torments her victims before crushing them.
Abilities and Powers:
Ruling alongside her sisters, Sandersonia holds power over Amazon Lily and the Kuja women. As part of her sister's pirate crew, she is one of the elite Kuja warriors. She possesses an ability similar to the Mantra of the Sky Island Priests, allowing her to read an opponent’s movements and avoid attacks. This ability, akin to Haki, helps her predict movements but is ineffective against opponents significantly faster than her.
Devil Fruit:
While enslaved, Sandersonia was fed the Hebi Hebi no Mi, Model: Anaconda, for the amusement of her former Tenryuubito masters. This Devil Fruit enables her to transform into an anaconda. Though her powers are Zoan-based, the Kuja believe that her and Marigold's ability to turn into snakes is part of the fabricated curse. In their transformed forms, they perform a battle formation called Saragi Dance.

Her name originates from the flower Sandersonia.
The title "Gorgon Sisters" comes from their supposed defeat of a monster named Gorgon, loosely based on the mythological Gorgon sisters, including Medusa. Sandersonia can also convert her hair into snake-like strands, another gorgon trait.
