Yuki Ryuunosuke is one of the Shinigami assigned to replace Zennosuke Kurumadani as the guardian of Karakura Town. Appearance:

The Thousand-Year Blood War arc
On the day Ryuunosuke is supposed to take over guarding Karakura Town from Zennosuke Kurumadani, he arrives late due to lack of sleep caused by anxiety about his new role. Zennosuke reprimands him for being late. Shino greets Ryuunosuke and encourages him to prepare for their mission. Ryuunosuke expresses his fear about the high number of Hollows in Karakura Town, which earns him a scolding from Shino. She questions why he doesn't have more confidence and hits him after he makes a comment about her flat chest. That evening, Ryuunosuke and Shino are transported to the Human World by Zennosuke, who leaves them with some words of encouragement. Shino suggests they split up, but Ryuunosuke is reluctant. Soon after, Ryuunosuke encounters a Hollow and runs away, calling for Shino. When he finds her, she is being held captive by a large Hollow. Despite his fear, Ryuunosuke draws his sword to save her but gets severely injured in the process. Fortunately, Ichigo Kurosaki arrives just in time to defeat the Hollow and introduces himself. Ryuunosuke wakes up in Ichigo's room and is informed that he can leave. Orihime enters, happy to see him awake. As Ichigo and his friends bicker, Ryuunosuke sits there confused until he suddenly remembers meeting Ichigo the previous day. Ichigo remarks that Ryuunosuke is slow, pointing out that he had been unconscious for an entire day. Ryuunosuke recalls how Ichigo and his friends quickly defeated the Hollows, despite hearing about Ichigo's formidable strength. Ichigo hands him some bread and tells him to get into his Gigai. Just then, Shino arrives, and the two engage in a friendly argument. They watch as Ivan Azgiaro appears in the room, only to be promptly kicked out the window by Ichigo, leaving them wondering who he was. Ryuunosuke is the younger brother of Rikichi Yuuki.
