The Demon God of the Slayers Series, Ruby Eye Shabranigdo, is the embodiment of Evil, the King of Darkness, and the originator of demons and monsters. In short, he is the root cause, directly or indirectly, of all the malevolence in the Slayers World. Feeding on negative emotions, his ultimate goal is to obliterate the world, enabling demonkind to thrive in the Sea of Chaos—the very essence of creation. Following his division into seven fragments and subsequent slumber, orchestrated by his arch-nemesis, the Dragon God Ceifeed, every demon harbors a singular ambition: to awaken him or to annihilate the world in his name.
