Rojuro Otoribashi, commonly known as Rose (ローズ, Rōzu?), previously served as the captain of the 3rd Division. He became captain about a year before Kisuke Urahara. Rose is an effeminate man with long, wavy blond hair and often wears a frilly shirt. His interests seem to lean towards music, as he has conversations with Love about new singles by artists and has been spotted playing or tuning a guitar on multiple occasions. Among his peers, Rose appears to be one of the more composed and possibly wiser members, though he does get annoyed when Love spoils manga storylines for him. His zanpakutō features a diamond-shaped hilt with curved edges, and its sheath is adorned with diamonds.
Following the defeat of Sosuke Aizen, Rose was reinstated as the captain of the 3rd Division.
