Rodimus was an elderly man who remained fiercely loyal to Zelgadiss Graywords. Despite his advanced age, Rodimus demonstrated remarkable fighting skills and, with the assistance of Dilgear, could hold his own against much younger opponents such as Gourry Gabriev.
Even after Zelgadiss turned against Rezo the Red Priest, Rodimus chose to stay under the chimera's command, asserting that their loyalty was with Zelgadiss, not Rezo. Consequently, both Rodimus and Zolf joined the Slayers alongside their master. However, their tenure with the group was brief.
Soon afterward, Rezo resurrected a fragment of the Demon King. In a critical misstep, Zolf cast a Dragon Slave spell on Shabranidgu, mistakenly believing it would be destroyed. Instead, the spell was reflected back, resulting in the deaths of both Rodimus and Zolf.
