He is a pale-skinned, white-haired male appearing to be in his late teens to early twenties, with unsettling golden eyes and dressed entirely in white.
Rasen is even more enigmatic within the Jyushinshuu than Noroi. Acting as their wild card, he contrasts with Joker, the second strongest member, yet remains largely uninvolved.
Throughout the series, he never smiles, though he sheds tears when his madogu is shattered. Unable to speak, he relies on his assistant Kirin to communicate his thoughts. In some ways, he is stronger than Kurei, maintaining his composure at all times, partly due to his emotions being erased by Kokai Gyoku.
