Pirika, Horohoro's younger sister, trains him in a manner similar to how Anna trains Yoh. Initially, Pirika calls Yoh a jerk for defeating her brother, causing him to feel distressed about people disliking him. Later, she befriends Anna and Tamao. "Pirika" means "pretty," and "pirka" means "good" in the Ainu language.
Although not depicted in the manga or anime, the author has mentioned that Pirika's partner spirit is Torara, known as a Marimo or Torasanpe in the Ainu language. It is said that Torara saved Pirika from drowning when she was young, leading them to become partners. Torara has the ability to manipulate water but is very shy, which is why he did not appear in the manga or anime.
