Parfet Balblair serves as the ship's chief engineer. She is a cheerful, nerdy-looking girl with huge glasses and brown hair styled in two large pigtails. Parfait dedicates most of her time to monitoring the Paeksys and the ship's engines but also finds moments to create inventions for the crew on special occasions. For instance, at Christmas, she worked tirelessly to get a snow machine operational for everyone's enjoyment. From the beginning of the series, she ends up partnered with Duelo while they share a common patient. As the series progresses, their relationship deepens, and by the end, there seems to be mutual attraction between them (evident when Parfait showed jealousy after Jura accidentally grabbed Duelo while aiming for Hibiki).
