Birthday: August 31 Jura Basil Elden serves as the secondary leader of the Dread fighting force. Despite her position, she is relatively inexperienced in leadership and not as adept as Meia. This stems from her spoiled nature and reliance on Barnette. Jura boasts long, blonde hair that she meticulously maintains and takes great pride in, often displaying vanity. In the early episodes of the first season, Jura persistently attempts to unite with Hibiki's Vanguard, inspired by Dita and Meia's success. She wields a rapier but rarely gets the opportunity to demonstrate her skills. It is implied that she has a romantic relationship with Barnette, another Dread pilot who collects antique firearms. Jura is taken aback when she first unites with Hibiki's Vanguard and sees her Vandread Jura-type (Red Claw). This machine resembles a crab with green discs orbiting it and features an enhanced shielding system capable of protecting objects as large as a planet, making it more suited for defense than offense. In Season 2, Jura spends considerable time trying to convince Hibiki to have a baby with her. When he departs, she lunges at him, misses, and ends up grabbing the other two men instead.
