Dita has a bubbly, lively personality that shines through in almost every aspect of her life, even during combat (she refers to enemies as "bad aliens"). Since meeting Hibiki in the first episode, she has admitted to having feelings for him and faces some ridicule from her fellow crew members due to her unusual infatuation. When her Dread unites with Hibiki's Vanguard, they transform into the Vandread Dita-type Blue Kachina/Giant, a blue giant mecha equipped with two powerful dual energy cannons that can be used for both long-range and short-range combat. Dita enjoys cooking for Hibiki and feels satisfied when he eagerly eats her dishes. Despite her childish demeanor, she holds a co-leading rank just below Jura and Barnett. Dita reveals that her cheerful attitude is meant to keep those around her from becoming too sad or serious about the events unfolding. As a child, she often daydreamed about aliens who would take her away from her bleak world, leading to her almost obsessive fascination with Hibiki, whom she believes is the alien she dreamed of. It isn't until the last episode of the second season that she finally calls Hibiki by his name, and vice versa. In the manga adaptation, Dita is less childish, addressing Hibiki by his name rather than "Mr. Alien," and he refers to her by her name instead of "UFO Girl." Additionally, there is only one Vandread form shared by Hibiki and Dita, and its fusion becomes permanent. In the Vandread Extra Stage Novel, it is revealed that after the series ends, Hibiki and Dita get married and have a baby.
