Nelson is exceptionally overweight, to the extent that he cannot walk and must be transported in an enormous chair carried by at least six men. His size makes it impossible for him to wear a standard marine coat, which can only cover his arms and back. On his massive stomach, there is a large blue tattoo of the Marine emblem.
Besides his extreme obesity, Nelson has other distinctive features. He sports a long, thin, curved moustache and has spiral markings on his large cheeks. Instead of eyebrows, he has two dark spots. He also wears an expensive-looking gold necklace with a red gemstone embedded in it.
On his head, Nelson wears a tall blue Marine hat, which is unique as no similar hat has been seen before or since.
