mr. crocketts

Croquet, known as Mr. Crocketts in the Japanese version, serves as the right-hand man and butler to Maximillion Pegasus. His responsibilities include reporting on the progress of Pegasus' plans, often stating the obvious without realizing it. His boss, with the help of the Millennium Eye and sharp intuition, usually predicts the outcomes of situations before Croquet can inform him. In one instance in the English anime, Pegasus punishes Croquet for his repeated failures by threatening to "lock him away... again."
