Moka is a student at Yokai Private Academy. She was the first person Tsukune encountered upon entering the monster realm. Moka's true identity is that of a vampire, yet she is remarkably sweet and kind. After tasting Tsukune's blood, she develops an affection for him, seemingly becoming addicted to it.
Moka wears a rosary around her neck due to her "inner self." When this rosary is removed (so far, only Tsukune has been able to do so), the seal restraining her true nature is released. This triggers physical changes: her hair turns silver, her pupils become slits, accompanied by a flash of light. More significantly, her inner personality emerges. Cold and ruthless, the "inner" Moka is distinctly different from the "outer" Moka, even reminding Tsukune to "be kind to the other Moka."
Moka is one of the most popular girls at school, attracting much attention from boys. However, she only pays attention to Tsukune, much to the dismay of others. Moka excels academically, ranking 13th in overall school exams, and is also a member of the Newspaper Club. She fears water because its purifying properties harm vampires, rendering them unable to function properly. It is revealed in an omake that she loves tomato juice but prefers Tsukune's blood.
Moka's outer personality is a fabricated persona modeled after her mother, Akasha Bloodriver. This persona has been protecting Moka until someone removes the seal and loves her.
