A teacher at Karakura High School, she wears glasses and remains unfazed by Ichigo Kurosaki's frequent absences, confidently stating that she knows he will return eventually. Unlike her lenient attitude towards Ichigo, she expresses disdain for other absent students, even referring to them as punks.
Misato Ochi is notably kind and understanding, especially towards Ichigo Kurosaki and his friends. After a three-month absence, she greeted Ichigo's return with nothing more than a gentle tap on the head with a book and told him to take his seat. She never displays anger or suspicion about their prolonged leaves of absence, trusting that they have valid reasons.
Currently, she is asleep along with the rest of Karakura Town in the Soul Society.
