Larry is generally easygoing and laid back, but he wears his heart on his sleeve. He's very trusting and somewhat unreliable, which leads to frequent changes in relationships and part-time jobs.
In PW:AA, it's often joked that "When something smells, it's usually the Butz." Larry is good friends with Phoenix, having known each other since they were young. Larry's family isn't mentioned throughout the games, but he has had several girlfriends, including Cindy Stone.
