Daughter of the distinguished lineage of magi from the Edelfelt family, Luviagelita serves as their young and talented family head. She is a student at Clock Tower, the academy of the Mage's Association, and one of the candidates for the student president position for the current academic term. Whenever Rin isn't around, Luvia maintains a graceful demeanor, never using foul language and possessing a beauty akin to a swan. Of course, this is just a facade; in reality, she is highly competitive and suffers from perfectionist tendencies. She has fair orangish-blonde hair. A Finnish expert in the Gandr shooting curse, Luvia is also trained in the English Lancashire-style of martial combat (which resembles pro-wrestling...) and earned the nicknames "Hunting Dog of the Ring" and "Forklift Lady." She uses the same Jewel Magecraft as Rin. Luvia typically wears a blue dress with sleeves that are optional attachments, easily and quickly removable during battle. Despite her wealth, Luvia does not tolerate wasteful spending. However, she understands that such displays of wealth are meaningful because aristocrats must uphold their status. She acknowledges that commoners may not have favorable views of aristocrats but loves them deeply because she understands them. Though accepting her fate to marry a high-class gentleman of noble birth, her personal preferences lean towards a simpler man. In Toosaka Rin, Luvia finds a worthy rival due to their similarities, leading to intense clashes whenever they meet. After a year together, a silent agreement within the Department of Mineralogy at Clock Tower decreed that "Toosaka and Edelfelt must not attend classes together." The facade she built over a decade began to wear thin, and her temper started showing, but Rin's presence improved her daily life. On one occasion, Luvia attempted to reserve the 28th room on the top floor of the Norwich Students Dormitory entirely for herself, only for this to become impossible when Rin also requested the same room. Following a series of events that led to the tearing of Rin's recommendation letter from a Lord, a significant fight broke out, destroying a reception desk in the process. Both were subsequently banned from ever entering the dormitory again. Due to the small size of boarding houses, Luvia bought a European-style mansion for herself to live in. During the Zelretch box incident in Fate/hollow ataraxia, a phone call connected to a Luvia from a parallel timeline three years in the future. A series of events starting with her delivering an important essay she wrote led to both her and Rin falling from the London Tower. They survived thanks to Shirou Emiya's intervention and later received the nicknames Mary of July (Luvia) and Poppins of July. Eventually, she and Shirou (whom she calls Shero) became partners and began investigating a cruise ship casino called Fem's Casa.
