Luchist, the founder and former leader of the X-laws, is one of the most powerful shamans under Hao. He serves as the primary rival to Marco. In their past lives, they were close friends and car dealers, but Hao's intervention drastically altered their paths. This relationship is not mentioned in the anime but is significant in the manga. After the deaths of X-III, Luchist follows Yoh to the X-laws' base, intending to re-enter the Shaman Fight, which he had previously given up to revive Ren.
During a confrontation, Luchist intervenes on Hao's behalf and easily defeats X-II before battling Marco. As he overwhelms Marco, Lyserg and Yoh (aided by Jeanne) step in and destroy his Oversoul, causing him to faint. His final appearance is at the Mu continent, where he blocks Yoh and others from entering the plants. Although the battle is not shown, both Luchist and Marco are killed during the fight, confirmed by Lyserg mentioning plans to revive him later.
Luchist's Spirit:
Lucifer, the "fallen angel," is capable of shattering souls and moving at undetectable speeds. However, using this spirit requires a significant amount of Furyoku, as evidenced by Luchist fainting when Lyserg destroys his Oversoul.
