"The White Dragon," Lee Pyron was a kung fu movie star who met an untimely end at the hands of the Tao clan to serve as Jun's jiangshi bodyguard. He is a thinly-veiled reference to Bruce Lee, whose death remains shrouded in mystery. Though technically not a spirit, he is a reanimated corpse brought back to life using Tao Jun's "ofuda." His role is similar to that of a spirit, as he serves and remains perpetually by Tao Jun's side. In the English anime, he is known as Lee Pai-Long.
Pyron was born on November 29, 1948, and died mysteriously at the age of thirty. His body vanished after his funeral, only to be later revealed that he had been murdered to become Tao Jun's guardian jiangshi. Upon regaining self-awareness, he forgave Jun for her family's actions and developed a strong attachment to her.
Lee Pyron's sensei, Sha-wen (referred to as Shaolin in the English anime), established a variation of the Chaolin ("super forest") Temple Style, which parodies the traditional Shaolin style. Sha-wen created the Ruichong-quan kung-fu (known as Eijuken in the English anime). This martial art formed the basis of Pyron's own style, Daodan-do (with "daodan" meaning "missile" in Chinese), which combined elements of Boxing, Muay Thai, and Karate. Before his death, Pyron aimed to perfect this style and did not intend to pass it on until it was complete. Unfortunately, he died before achieving this goal.
Some of the moves in Daodan Do include Fu chong Hong Zha si (dive bomber, a series of matrix-like flips), followed by Hong Zha Jiao (bomb kick, a thrust to the face using the right leg) or Dao Dan Jiao (rocket kick, a sudden thrust to the body with the legs).
