Kuro, the former Captain of the Black Cat Pirates, is famously known as "Kuro of the Thousand Plans" due to his meticulously crafted strategies that almost never fail. This reputation has earned him the distinction of being the second most intelligent person in the East Blue, just behind Ben Beckman. Kuro possesses superhuman speed, enabling him to deliver his attacks with such swiftness that he appears only as a faint blur or through the damage his strikes inflict. His primary offensive technique is called Shakushi (Death Scoop/Death Ladle), which allows him to sweep across a wide area, striking down anything his claws come into contact with, even his own crew members. The speed at which this technique operates is comparable to CP9's Soru ability. However, unlike CP9 who have mastered their technique and can see their targets clearly, Kuro cannot discern what he is attacking when using Shakushi.
