An ordinary man, killed during the Shinjuku massacre. It is later revealed that his main job is as a designer. He is the sole participant, apart from Izumi, who does not train with Kurono because he believes Kurono should not be the leader. During the Tae Alien mission to assassinate Tae, he sides with Izumi. Eventually, he realizes that his best chance of survival lies under Kurono's guidance. By the end of the Oni mission, he gives his support to Kurono. When it comes to fighting, he tends to be quite cowardly and tries to maintain a cool demeanor in such situations. There are multiple hints throughout the story that he is attracted to Reika, and he even admitted this to an Oni Alien he mistook for Reika, subsequently engaging in sexual activity with the alien. After the Oni mission, he develops respect for Kurono and believes that Kurono has the potential to become the group's leader. Despite Kurono's death, he continues to fight alongside the other Gantz team members against the aliens.
